Cohere Interactive Workshop #4 Building Equitable Partnerships with Refugee-led Organisations

You're Invited! February 29, 2024, from 9am to 11 am EST. Cohere Interactive Workshop #4 on Funding and Institutional Support to Refugee-led Organisations

Cohere extends its gratitude to the nearly 200 refugee response practitioners, funders, and leaders of Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) who participated in our last workshop, co-organized with Asylum Access, on Building Equitable Partnerships with RLOs.

We further extend a special invitation to join the fourth session of our workshop series “Building Organizational Pathways for Meaningful Participation and Refugee Leadership”. It is free and open to the refugee response community without reservation.

Read below to understand more about the initiative, and how to RSVP for the fourth session on Funding and Institutional Support to Refugee-led Organizations, to be held virtually on Thursday, February 29, from 9 to 11 am EST!

About Workshop #4 on Funding and Institutional Support to Refugee-led Organizations:

In regard to the current funding landscape for RLOs, together we will ask: How are effective RLO funding mechanisms different from standard approaches?  How can donors, intermediaries, and INGOs responsibly use or hand over their power to enable high-impact funding for RLOs? Join us to find out!

This fourth workshop will feature the wisdom of Hane Alrustm, Director of Programs, Resourcing Refugees Leadership Initiative (RRLI), and Najeeba Wazefadost, Founder and Executive Director of Asia Pacific Network of Refugees (APNOR), Co-founder of the Global Refugee-led network (GRN) and Global Independent Refugee Women Leaders (GIRWL).

The session will be moderated by organizational consultant and former Asylum Access SVP and COO Diana Essex-Lettieri

In addition to hearing from these experts, the Interactive Workshop Series creates significant opportunities to connect with your colleagues from diverse institutions. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting two-hour workshop!
