[Online Member Consultations] – South Asia

Brief

NOTE: Members ONLY Event

The strategic plan aims to set out the strategic priorities for APRRN over the next four years and includes measurable actions under each priority area or pillars. The draft plan has been developed by the Steering Committee and Board, with assistance from organisational development consultants. We now wish to engage with all members to gather feedback on the draft plan before preparing a final version for endorsement at the 9th Asia Pacific Consultation on Refugee Rights (APCRR9) to be held in Bangkok and online on the 12th and 13th of September. In order to ensure that all members will have a chance to input into the strategy, we are organising a series of 2-hour subregional consultations in our four regions.

Please take some time now to register for the sessions below. If you are unable to make the one scheduled for your region it is ok to book in for one of the others. It is hoped that organising these consultations by subregion will help us to ensure adequate consideration of subregional variances. If you have any other questions related to the strategy and/or the consultation process, please direct them to Hafsar and Klaus at sg.hafsar@aprrn.org and sg.klaus@aprrn.org

Our strength as APRRN is our members and our ability to work collectively for refugee protection and human rights. The Strategic Plan is therefore critical for mobilising each other and focussing APRRN resources towards the greatest impact. We, therefore, hope that as many of you as possible will take an active part in the strategy process and set out the direction for APRRN for the next four years.
