At the Regional Humantiration Advocacy Consultation on Rohingya Displacement, held in Bangkok in September 2022, participants identified public disclosure around the Rhokngya among priority themes for further coordinated advocacy and action, especially agencies and other groups working with the Rohingya in Asia. 

Building on this interest, the Asia Displacement Solutions Platform, the International Organisation for Migration and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. would like to invite you to join a webinar. The webinar aims to share experiences, strategies, tools and good practices in building factual and accurate accounts of the lives of marginalised communities in public narratives, to promote protection and solutions, with a focus on the Rohingya situation.

The Webinar will facilitate an exchange on some of the trends, digital evolutions, lessons learned and developing practices in this area, from within the region and beyond. The webinar will be interactive, with opportunities for questions and answers. 

Participation is especially welcome from across the Asia region who are working with different communities, including the Rohingya, and are interested in a future partnership to engage at different levels with communities, the medical and other forms of public discourse on the Rohingya issue, in the hope to enhance solutions and protection. Civil society, UN partners and donors are among those expected to join the conversation.
