Wais Aria is an Afghan graduate of Kabul Medical University and has worked as a human right activist for almost 20 years. He has worked in Europe with Afghan refugees and is a member of different human right and refugee support organisations in Afghanistan and around the world. Wais has refugee status in the USA, and has been an active member of APRRN since 2013. Additionally, he is currently serving as the Executive Director of Tabish Social Health Education Organisation, which he founded. Tabish has supported IDPs, refugees, and returnees of forced deportation since 2009, working on psycho-social health, education, human rights, and capacity development.
