The first case of Covid-19 has been confirmed among returning migrants in Kayin State. Approx. 80,000 migrants have returned since March according to IOM estimates. Two military owned machines are being used for Covid-19 testing of military personnel, people at quarantine facilities in and around Nay Pyi Taw and returning migrant workers at quarantine facilities in Kayin and Mon states. See attached document of full Myanmar Situation Report. There are however currently no confirmed cases in camps or displacement sites for IDPs or in communities affected by conflict.
